A message from our founder
Why Binome Care exists — in her own words.
We grew up knowing the beauty of Omugwo — the tradition of surrounding a new mother with practical help, companionship and care as she recovers and finds her way into motherhood.
In Canada, we realized this kind of support was not always naturally woven into postpartum life. The healthcare system cares for the medical needs of mother and baby, but there is still a gap between medical care and the everyday support a new mother needs at home.
We kept thinking about the mother who needs someone to hold the baby while she showers, prepare a meal while she rests, listen when she needs to talk, or simply remind her that she does not have to do everything alone.
That realization became Binome Care.
In her own words
Motherhood showed me something I could never fully understand from the outside.
A woman can be deeply grateful for her baby and still be exhausted.
She can be happy and still feel overwhelmed.
She can love her baby with everything in her and still need someone to ask —
“But how are you doing?”

That question became very important to me. As a mother rebuilding my life in Canada, I also understand what it feels like to navigate a new environment while carrying the responsibilities of family, work, motherhood, and dreams.
Sometimes you have family around.
Sometimes your family is thousands of miles away.
And sometimes, you simply need someone to step in and say — “Let me help you.”
That is the heart behind Binome Care
Inspired by the spirit of Omugwo, we are building a modern village for mothers from all backgrounds.
Binome Care exists to bring compassionate, practical and trustworthy postpartum support into the home — caring not only for the baby, but for the woman behind the baby.
We provide non-medical, in-home postpartum support to help mothers care for themselves, care for their babies, rest, recover, and adjust to this beautiful but sometimes overwhelming new chapter.
Because postpartum care isn’t only about the baby
There is a mother behind that baby who needs care too.
A mother who deserves to rest.
A mother who deserves support.
A mother who deserves to be seen.
A mother who deserves to hear — “You don’t have to do everything alone.”
This is why Binome Care exists.
A baby is born. A mother is born too.
And we believe both deserve care.

Welcome to Binome Care — caring for the mother behind the baby.
Sometimes, sharing a message is how we help someone find her village.
Every mother deserves a village. Let’s help build one.
