What is Binome Care?
Binome provides compassionate, practical, non-medical postpartum support at home. Care may include newborn routines, maternal respite, meals, light household help, and companionship.
Who is Binome for?
New and growing families, including first-time parents, families without nearby support, mothers recovering from a challenging birth, and anyone who would appreciate another trusted pair of hands.
What does a Postpartum Care Specialist do?
Based on your plan, your specialist may assist with newborn care, established feeding routines, diapering, soothing, rest time, simple meals, laundry, light tidying, and companionship.
How is this different from a postpartum doula?
Binome is a structured support service focused on practical in-home assistance. Our care can complement the work of doulas, midwives, nurses, and other professionals.
Is Binome a medical or nursing service?
No. We do not diagnose, prescribe, perform medical procedures, provide clinical treatment, or replace regulated healthcare professionals.
Can you help with feeding?
Yes. We can help with your established feeding routine, supplies, and baby care after feeding, or bottle-feed according to your instructions. Clinical lactation assessment is outside our scope.
Can someone care for my baby while I sleep or shower?
Yes. Appropriate newborn care and supervision can give you time to rest, eat, shower, or take a moment for yourself, according to your family's care plan.
Can you help after a C-section or difficult birth?
Yes. We can help with practical tasks like baby care, meals, laundry, and companionship. Wound care and medical assessments are not included.
Do you provide housekeeping?
We offer light household help connected to postpartum needs, such as dishes, laundry, meal clean-up, and tidying. Deep cleaning is not included.
Can you prepare meals?
Yes. Your specialist can prepare or warm simple meals, snacks, and drinks and assist with basic kitchen clean-up. Household and cultural preferences can be discussed.
Can I book daytime or overnight support?
Yes, depending on availability in your area. We’ll discuss the schedule and type of support that works for your family.
How are specialists matched and screened?
Matching considers your location, schedule, needs, preferences, and specialist experience. Screening and onboarding may include interviews, references, identity and background checks, and relevant training.
Can I customize my support?
Absolutely. Your plan can prioritize rest, meals, newborn care, household help, companionship, or a combination of these.
Can you support twins or multiples?
Yes. A supplemental daily rate applies for multiples; contact us for a personalized quote.
